Deignan selected to ride for Ireland at World Championships

Philip Deignan has been selected to ride for Ireland in the upcoming World Championships.
The Letterkenny rider will be joined on the 3 man Irish team by Dan Martin and Nicholas Roche for the event in Spain on Sunday 21st September.
Philip is currently in Spain with Team Sky riding in the Vuelta a Espana, where he is lying 44th in general classification in what is final grand tour of the year.
Sam Bennett will act as first reserve for the worlds team, while Roche has also been nominated to contest the Individual Time Trial event.
