The Taoiseach has asked the Sinn Fein leader if he is aware of IRA members, found by the organisation to be guilty of sexual abuse in Northern Ireland, being moved to safe houses in Donegal.
Enda Kenny raised the matter in the Dáil this afternoon following a meeting with Mairia Cahill in Dublin this morning.
The Taoiseach asked the question of Deputy Adams twice:
Responding to the Taoiseach on a number of points he raised, Deputy Adams did not answer the question on Donegal safe houses.
He later took to twitter to reject the allegations:
I again reject the Taoiseach & FF Leaders malicious allegation that I have any info re abusers being moved across border or any where else!
