A 42 year old man has been charged in connection with the deaths of Kathleen and Jimmy Cuddihy in Carndonagh.
Julian Cuddihy of Churchtown, Carndonagh, the couples son, appeared at a special sitting in Ballyshannon District Court late on Friday evening charged with two counts of murder.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court again next Wednesday.
The remains of 77 year old Jimmy and 73 year old Kathleen Cuddihy were found at their home in Carndonagh shortly after 9am on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, Gardai investigating the deaths of Jimmy and Kathleen Cuddihy say they are keen to trace the movements of the family car on Wednesday evening through to Thursday morning.
