Motorcyclist killed in road crash near Raphoe

Gardai have confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic collision in Raphoe.
The crash, involving a motorcycle, occurred shortly before 4pm this afternoon near Ballinalecky Crossroads.
Its understood that the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle towing a trailer.
Gardai and the ambulance service are at the scene.
Motorists are asked to approach the area with caution. The road between Raphoe and the Letterkenny/ Lifford Rd is closed and diversions in place.
The road has been closed overnight until accident scene investigators arrive tomorrow morning.
