The news that Carndonagh Courthouse is to reopen in October after being closed for 2 years has been described by Inishowen Councillor Padraig MacLoughlin as ‘farcial’.
He says that Carndonagh has recieved “the short straw again” after the promised major refurbishment of the building and parking facilities hasn’t happened.
And the Deputy Mayor of Donegal says if there was no money for refurbishments, then why did the courthose close for 2 years:
