There were 28 people awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, five of them on Emergency Department trolleys. That’s eight down on yesterday’s figure of 36. Nationally, the INMO say there were 554 people waiting for in-patient beds, with the largest number, 45, recorded at University Hospital Limerick.
