Three year old from Buncrana dies in Latvian drowning tragedy

It’s emerged that a three year old boy from Buncrana has died while visiting his grandparents’ in Latvia. Rolands Letinas, who attended Cockhill Community Preschool, died in the tragedy last week. A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate’s Court charged with attempting to murder a police officer in June last year. Sean McVeigh of Victoria Street in Lurgan was charged with attempted murder and possessing Semtex with intent to endanger life on June 18 last year.
