Jason Quigley makes it 11 straight wins in biggest fight of his career

Jason Quigley
Fearless Donegal boxer Jason Quigley maintained his unbeaten career record with a stunning win in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Jason (24), from Ballybofey, won a unanimous decision victory over experienced Mexican fighter James De La Rosa (28) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Middleweight fighter Jason has now won 11 out of 11 fights.
He went into the ring with a perfect 10-0 while De La Rosa had 26 fights and only three losses for a 23-3 record.
Jason’s fight was on the undercard of the Amir Khan v Saul Alvarez showdown in Vegas – and it was a high profile bout which he had announced on Highland Radio Sport last month.
It represents the biggest fight of Jason’s career and was watched by a potential audience of millions on HBO TV in America and streamed worldwide online.
The three judges give him the points victory on a 100-90 verdict.
Jason is due to speak live today on Highland Radio’s Sunday Sport show.
