Tir Chonaill Gaels have won the London Senior Football Championship for the 16th time by defeating St. Kiernan’s 3-10 to 1-12 in Ruislip. Donegal players Adrian Hanlon (Dungloe), Seamus ‘Nanny’ Friel (Fanad) and Ashley Carr (Kilcar) all played important roles. Hanlon scored a goal, although he got a black card later.

Two men arrested on suspicion on GBH after Old Fort incident in Derry

Detectives in Derry are appealing for information following an altercation between two men in the Old Fort area early yesterday morning. Both men received injuries that required hospital treatment.
