The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Donal Friel, Portnamurray, Ballyboe, Rathmullan, F92 WK1H, formerly Phillip Street, Derry.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Brid, son Cormac (Ciara), daughter Celia (Brendan), brothers Michael, Colm, Philip and Sean, sister Moira, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at his home today, Thursday, September 3rd , from 2pm until 10pm and tomorrow, Friday, September 4th, from 12 noon until 10pm.
Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Those attending the wake between 6pm and 10pm should park at the Water’s Edge car park, F92 RW8C, and a bus will be provided from there.
Requiem Mass on Saturday, September 5th , at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan.
Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.
