SIRO has confirmed that its Fibre-to-the-Building broadband network is being extended to six new towns in Donegal – Buncrana, Donegal Town, Ballybofey, Stranorlar, Ballyshannon and Bundoran. SIRO is a joint venture between Vodafone and the ESB.
Construction has already commenced, with 1,600 premises in Buncrana already able to avail of Gigabit connectivity, while preparatory works are also underway in the other five towns.
