Quads being driven on lakes despite garda warning

Videos have emerged on the interent of youths apparently using quads on Knockalla lake, fozen due to the recent weather.
The videos were posted in the same week that Gardai warned of the dangers of driving on frozen lakes – that warning was issued following a number of reports of quads being used on Lough Mourne and Trust Lough.
Superintendent Vincent O’Brien warning of the dangers of the practice and has urged those involved or their parents to ensure it stops.
