New car sales increase in Donegal

Car sales n Donegal are on the increase.
The number of cars sold in Donegal last month was 394, that is an increase of 50 or 14’5%  on January 2009.
This is one of the largest increases in the country and treble the national average.
Sales of light commercial vans doubled – 76 sold last month, an increase of over 100% – triple the national average.
Across the country the sale of Heavy Goods Vehicle halved last month compared to 2009, a trend followed in Donegal with only two sold last month.
