Waterford Utd 2 v 0 Derry City
Finn Harps suffered their 11th defeat of the season on Friday night after two second half goals gave title chasing Monaghan the win at home. The points were wrapped up when Monaghan sub Darragh Hannaphy scored their second goal in the 86th minute. Philly Hughes had broken the deadlock for the home side in the 54th minute.

Monaghan are now just four points of the league leaders Derry City. Derry lost away on Friday night by two goals to nil against Waterford Utd.
