The Director of Letterkenny Institute of Technology says Donegal has a better record in employing its own graduates than any other rural county in Ireland.
Paul Hannigan was speaking after the college was ranked 18th out of 22 third level colleges in the annual Sunday Times Guide, down from 14th in 2009.
The guide finds that with 31% of students not having standard leaving cert qualifications, Letterkenny IT is the most socially inclusive college in the country.
