Council gives update on number of key road projects

Donegal County Council has given an update on a number of key road projects which have either begun or are about to start.
At least seven major projects will be on site over the coming two months with the local authority saying that for safety reasons, motorists can expect delays as a result.
The Council says that public and employee safety is a priority and as a consequence significant traffic management is required and delays to the public are unfortunately inevitable.
The council says that  N13 Kilverry to Colehill at Newtowncunningham should be complete by Mid October – work on the N13 Ramoghey to Manorcunningham road at Pluck Roundabout starts next week with an early November completion date.
N14 Pavement Overlay, affecting a number of locations start Mid October and should take a month.
Work on the Castlefin to Lifford starts late October and should be finished late November.
Work on N56, Dunfanaghy toFalcarragh road is due to start early October with completion Mid November while the work underway on the N56 Mullinaboys to Mountcharles at Turris Hill should be finished early October.
