The Connaught Ulster branch of the Ministerial Council on Intergration will meet for the first time in Galway this evening.
The council is made up of 15 members of the migrant community representing 14 countries of origin who will outline their experiences of intergration in Ireland and inform future government policy in the area of intergration. Four of the council members are based in Donegal.
The Minister for Intergration is Mary White – she says the new initiative is of huge importance:
