Voting to elect the fifth term of the Donegal Youth Council gets underway today, with 12,000 12-18 year-old’s heading to the polls.
56 candidates will fight it out, with 36 to be elected by next Friday.
With an increased number of 12-15 year olds putting their names forward, this years Youth Councillors are expected to be the youngest ever.
