The Environment Minster has been asked to intervene after it emerged that the Donegal Youth Council has been suspended.
The decion was made after the youth council co-ordinator’s contract expired and will not be renewed.
Donegal County Council cannot appoint a replacement because of the governments recruitment ban.
Now Environment Minister John Gormley is being called on to intervene and make an exception.
