Letterkenny General Hospitals €3.5 million deficit will be wiped out and they will be able to start from a clean slate in 2011, according to Donegal North-East Deputy, Niall Blaney.
A meeting was held on Wednesday night between Health Minister Mary Harney, Deputy Blaney and Letterkenny General manager Sean Murphy to discuss the hospitals future.
The hospital has already cuts its deficit from €9 million to €3.5 million this year.
