Soccer – Zayed Signs With Derry

Former Drogheda United and Sporting Fingal star Eamon Zayed has agreed a one year deal with Derry City. The 27 year old has signed on a free contract after being released by Sporting towards the end of last season.  It was Zayed’s performances with Sporting that got him noticed by Libya, because of this he recently won his first cap. Zayed was Drogheda’s top scorer in their championship winning side of 2007 and won an FAI Cup medal with Sporting Fingal in 2009.
