Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has named his team for Tuesday’s Carling Nations cup game with Wales at the Aviva. Everton’s Seamus Coleman and Aston Villa’s Ciaran Clark will both make their International debuts. Coleman who was last night awarded the FAI u21 Player of the Year will start in midfield alongside Glen Whelan and Damien Duff. Trapattoni hasn’t decided yet who’ll play in central midfield alongside Whelan. It will be either Derry’s Darron Gibson or Paul Green. Shay Given who will win his 110th cap starts in goal and will captain the side in the absence of Robbie Keane. Clark is named in defence with John O’Shea, Richard Dunne and Sean Saint Ledger. Kevin Doyle starts up front with Jonathan Walters.
