The Chairman of the Ardara Town Traders, Stephen Mc Cahill(Cathal) has confirmed that he will run as an Independent in Donegal South West.
The decision was made at a meeting in Ardara last night.
The 51-year-old has been involved in community life in Ardara and the surrounding area for many years.
He says he’s running because Donegal needs change during these difficult times:
