The Mayor of Donegal is calling on the government to provide more money for a new footpath at Drumboe.
The new Finn Valley College campus is nearing completion, and will be open by September. However, Cllr Cora Harvey says there is growing concern amongst parents that the footpath leading up to the new Finn Valley School in Stranorlar will not be completed before the school opens.
Tánaiste and Education Minister Mary Coughlan has confirmed €200,000 for the project, but there is a shortfall, and that must be made up.
She says all councillors in the Stranorlar Electoral Area have agreed to divert other funding, but this will have a knock on effect on other vital projects:
