This morning on the Shaun Doherty Show, Ireland Manager Roy Torrens spoke about the experience of beating England in the World Cup. Torrens is one of three North West members with the Irish set up. Roy who is from Derry also represented Ireland as a player on six occasions. On the playing staff are Captain William Porterfield from Donemana and Boyd Rankin from Bready. Shaun was also joined by Highland’s cricket correspondent Eamon Mc Laughlin and St. Johnston cricket club member Alan Mc Beth.
