3 men with addresses in Strabane and Lifford have appeared in court this morning charged with burglary and criminal damage.
In court where 24 year-old Kevin Darragh of 16 Townsend Street, Strabane. Martin Connally of 5 Bridge View Apartments, Lifford and 23 year-old Sean Gillespie with at 17 Eden Terrace, Strabane.
They were arrested in connections with the theft of copper from a premises at Mountain Top Letterkenny last evening.
Meanwhile Gardai investigating a spate of robberies on the Donegal/ Derry border have arrested four men with addresses in Dublin.
They were arrested in the Carrickmacross area off the back of public information received from a Garda appeal.
Superintendent Vincent O’Brien is leading the investigation – he says that while progress is being made in the investigation – the public should remain vigilant:
