Soccer – North West Clubs In EA Sports Cup Draw

The draw for the Preliminary and First Rounds of the EA SPORTS Cup was made on Wednesday by Eamon Naughton, chairman of Airtricity League, and Richard Collins, NLEC member. Donegal side Fanad Utd have been drawn away to Salthill Devon in the preliminary round of Pool 2. That game will be played on Monday 14th March. If Fanad can come through the tie with the Galway outfit Ollie Horgan’s men will have a home fixture in the First Round against League of Ireland Premier Division side Derry City. The other games in the First Round are Finn Harps away to Mervue Utd and Cockhill Celtic away to Galway Utd. Those games will be played on Monday 28th of March.
