Man arrested in Coalisland as part of dissident probe

A man has been arrested in Tyrone in connection with dissident republican activity.
The 40 year old was arrested in Coalisland, Co. Tyrone.
Detectives are questioning him in at the Serious Crimes Suite in Antrim.
Meanwhile, police in Belfast have charged a 31 year old man with firearms and drugs offences.
He’s due in court tomorrow.
The charges relate to a major search operation by the Organised Crime Branch detectives against a gang in North Belfast and Newtownabbey.
Two men, aged 42 and 30, have already been charged with drugs offences following the raids on Friday.
Police said the two men had been released on bail and are due to appear in court later this month.
Another man and woman arrested during a follow up operation yesterday have been released without charge.
