GAA – Donegal Senior Championship Recap

There will be a new name on the Dr. Maguire Cup in 2011. After last weekend’s semi final’s Glenswilly and St.Michael’s progressed into the Donegal Senior Club Championship decider. St.Michael’s who will be making a first ever appeareance in the county final beat Glenfin 1-15 to 1-6 at the O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny with the help of Colm Mc Fadden’s 1-7. Later on Sunday evening Glenswilly overcame Kilcar 1-7 to 0-7  in Ballybofey. Neil Gallagher’s goal early in the first half proved to be the difference between the sides. It will be Glenswilly’s second appearence in the senior final, in 2007 the Glen men lost out to St. Eunan’s.
