Security operation underway in Claudy

It’s emerged police in Derry are dealing with an on-going security operation.
A suspicious object was discovered in the area of Learmount Road and Ervery Road in Claudy in the early hours of this morning.
Earlier, police urged people living in the Claudy, Eglinton and Waterside areas to be extremely vigilant.
