13 arrested in overnight distrurbance in Letterkenny

Gardai have arrested 13 people following a disturbance in the Thornberry area in Letterkenny.
Gardai initially responded to an alleged assault at 5.30 this morning, but it is understood that matters developed.
Locals reported a large number of gardai in the area at the time of the incident, some wearing riot gear.
A garda spokesperson says the matter is under investigation.
