A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot by a gunman who escaped on a motorcycle in Derry.
The attack happened at Ballyarnett village shortly after 630pm yesterday evening.
The man was shot once in both legs. He was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Foyle MLA Raymond Cartney, who lives nearby, said people living close by said they were shocked by the shooting……
