GAA – Donegal Reaction From GAA Writers Awards

At the Ulster GAA Writers Awards last weekend, Donegal had three winners in Bundoran. All Star Karl Lacey was name Player of the Year. The Four Masters man beat of competition from fellow county man Colm Mc Fadden and Armagh’s Jamie Clarke to land the prize. Patrick Mc Brearty was the recipient of the Cormac Mc Anallen Young Achiever of the Year Award while Donegal senior team manager Jim Mc Guinness was named as the Personality of the Year.
Player of the Year Karl Lacey  was happy to lift yet another honour, adding to those he already won in recent weeks.


On accepting his Personality of the Year award Donegal manager Jim Mc Guinness  said it was an award for the team.
