Updated: Man killed in crash on Moville to Redcastle road

A man in his 50’s has been killed in a road traffic collision on the Moville to Rescastle Road.
He died when his car was in collision with a 4×4 vehicle just outside Moville at 4.35pm on Friday evening.
The dead man was the sole occupant of the car.
There were five people in the 4×4. The driver of that vehicle suffered non life threatening injuries, his four passengers were uninjured.
The Moville to Redcastle Road has been closed pending a garda investigation.
The road is expected to remain closed until at least Saturday lunchtime.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward
