Crucial Fishing quota talks enter second day

The head of the Killybegs Fishermen’s Organisation says he doesn’t expect any speedy conclusion to ongoing negotiations on Ireland’s fishing quotas for next year.
The annual EU Fisheries Council meeting has entered its second day with little chance of an agreement before the weekend.
The KFO says is satisfied with Ireland’s qouta for the Bore species but concern remain over other key species for Donegal fishermen including Herring and Haddock.
Much of the debate is over Cod with the Eu Commission looking to ban the catching of it due to low stocks in the Irish sea and off the Northwest coast.
But Sean O’Donoghue of the KFO says that wouldn’t make sense:
