Police appeal after man is assaulted in his home

A man armed with a gun has assaulted a man in Derry.
The masked man, who police believe was carrying a firearm, entered a house in St Eithnes Park at 11 o’clock last night.
He attacked a man in the house before making off in a silver coloured car.
The victims’s lip was cut in the incident.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
