Donegal’s Neil McGee played his part in Ulster’s 3-11 to 1-15 defeat over Munster, with a late winner to grant Joe Kernan’s side victory. The move between Karl Lacey, Peter Harte and McGee ended with a superb late goal securing Ulster’s 30th title. McGee and Lacey were also joined in the squad by fellow county man Rory Kavanagh. Munster dominated in the third quarter and they thought they had clinched it with Rory Donnelly’s goal. But Ulster bounced back with McGee’s goal 2 minutes from time to wrap up the win in an exciting finish.
