Poll finds Donegal accent is the sexiest in Ireland

A new survey has found that Donegal natives have the sexiest accent in Ireland.
The study reveals that 42 per cent of women and 39 per cent of men go weak at the knees for the Donegal lilt.
Donegal tops this poll from Parship-dot-ie – a dating website which says one in five women believe accents are important when choosing a partner.
However, it’s bad news for Tipperary natives, whose accent is at the other end of the scale, attracting just one per cent of the vote among women and five per cent among men.
The Galway accent is deemed to be the most intelligent by men – but women disagree and voted the Dublin accent instead.
Men say Grainne Seoige is the celebrity with the sexiest tone – and actor Peter O’Toole, who turns 80 this year, topped the poll for women.
Ryan Tubridy came in second and Daithi O’Se came third.
