The Killybegs based Atlantic Dawn Group has launched boar fish on the Chinese market with the hope that it could lead to a multi million euro revenue stream.
Karl McHugh, joint chief executive of Atlantic Dawn Group, is currently in China with the fisheries Minister trying to tap in to the market.
The company has access to a large qouta of the fish but at the moment the market is limited.
Sales and Operations manager with Atlantic Dawn Patrick Reilly says that while it is early days, there is huge potential for Killybegs if a deal can be reached:
