Madams Bank Road improvements should benefit Donegal drivers – Kennedy

The north’s regional Development minister was in Derry today to launch the opening of the Madams Bank Road.
Today’s function marked the launch of a £1.7 million improvement package on Madam’s Bank Road.
Minister Danny Kennedy said the works will further improve travelling conditions for the people of the whole North West. He said the road is a key element of the North West Transport Corridor connecting Belfast to Derry City and on to Donegal.
Minister Danny Kennedy said that the road has been strengthened and widened to four lanes to improve traffic flow and also stated that these improvements will be beneficial to the pupils of Steelstown road primary school, who can now use the widened footpaths and cycling facilities on their school route.
