Gardai call on motorists to be mindful of driving conditions this weekend

Gardaí in Donegal are calling on motorists to be mindful of driving conditions over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Last May Bank Holiday weekend, 4 people were tragically killed and 9 people were seriously injured on our roads. 11 people in total were killed in the month of May 2011. 33 people have lost their lives in May Bank Holiday crashes since 2005.
With the roads expected to be busy over the weekend – Gardaí say drivers must drive slowly and wear a seatbelt at all times.
