Donegal business leaders back “Yes” campaign

Donegal business leaders have come out in support of a YES vote in the upcoming Fiscal Stability Treaty referendum.
At a meeting last evening organised by IBEC North West a number of high profile business people endorsed a Yes vote.
Speaking following the meeting Peter Mulrine of P Mulrine & Sons said: that A yes vote is vital to the interests of this country and will provide greater certainty about our economic future.
Lynn Temple of Magee & Co said: “The treaty is not the solution to all our current difficulties, but it is part of the solution. The economic stability that the Fiscal Stability Treaty will provide will act as a confidence boost for the economy.
Deirdre McGlone of Harvey’s Point Country Hotel said: “The Fiscal Stability Treaty will provide certainty about the future funding of the state. Access to the European Stability Mechanism is a vital insurance policy and is an essential part of restoring confidence and economic stability.
There views where endorsed by Senator Jimmy Harte, Donegal Deputy Joe McHugh and Minister Frances Fitzgerald who was in donegal to fufill a number of functions.
