Man arrested in connection with Letterkenny stabbing

A man’s been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Letterkenny on April 23rd.
The incident happened when the assailant approached a man close to the junction of High Road and Main Street, and asked for a cigarette.
When the man refused, he was stabbed in the face, requiring plastic surgery. The local man, who is niow based in the US, has returned to America where he is receiving further treatment.
