Fifteen health staff in Derry face commute of extra 100 miles

Foyle MLA Mark H. Durkan says the decision to centralise health administration in four sites will see 15 staff in Derry face a commute of an extra 100 miles, and create problems for all staff in the Western Health Trust.
Currently each of the five health trusts has its own administration department which includes payroll and human resources, but they’re now being decentralised to “centres of expertise” Belfast and Armagh respectively.
Mark H. Durkan says this will impact on everybody, particulalry the staff concerned, and its hard to see whop will benefit………
