Soccer – Another Defeat For Harps

Finn Harps suffered their fifth straight defeat last Friday in what has been a diffcult season so far for the Ballybofey side.
In what has been an all to familiar sight for Harps fans this season, the home side dominated large periods of the second half yet couldn’t make their chances count. Waterford then made them pay on the 83rd minute as they capitilised on some slack defending from a set piece.
There was more bad news ten minutes into the second half as Blain Curtis limped off with a knee injury. This coupled with both Kevin McHugh and Adam Clarke suspended, Harps could go into their FAI Cup game against Derry without any recognised first team forwards.
Finn Harps Manager Peter Hutton spoke with Diarmaid Doherty after the game.
