Donegal County Council is well placed to avail of the opportunities provided by renerwable energy and the green economy.
That’s according to the Director of Community Services Michael Heaney, who was addressing the Donegal Community Development Board’s annual strategy day today.
He says there are many opportunities available, and the council is working on maximising them……
Cllr Dessie Larkin is Chair of the Development Board. he acknowledges that there are compromises to be reached and balances to be struck, particularly in the area of wind energy.
