Revenue can reach agreement to save Highland bakery – Mac Lochlainn

Donegal Deputy Padraig Mac Lochlainn has called on Revenue to negotiate with the management of Highland Bakery to allow it pay its tax liabilities but stay in business.
A stand off between staff and agents of the Revenue Commissioners ended at the Letterkenny facility last evening.
Bailiffs arrived at the premises to remove machinery but were refused entry, they later left.
Fears remain for the jobs of the company’s 28 full time staff and the 15 drivers it uses to deliver its products.
Deputy Mac Lochlainn believes agreement is possible if the will is there…….
