Defence forces helping to fight forest and gorse fires in Donegal

Forest and gorse fires have broken out in parts of South Donegal.
A blaze at Glengesh was spreading so fast, that fire fighters had to call the Defence Forces for assistance.
The Air Corps has dropped over 21 thousand litres of water on the flames. Troops from the 28 Infantry Battalion, 4 Western Brigade based in Finner Camp have also been placed on standby.
