Council promises to tackle problem of unfinished estates

The County manager has committed to doing all he can to tackle the problem of unfinished estates in Donegal.
There are an estimated 130 unfinished estates in the county with problems including no lighting, unfinished footpaths and sewage pumping stations that are failing.
Some work has been done to address the problems in the past in each electoral area but now the County Manager Seamus Nealy will chair a group identifying all the problems and seeking ways and means to correct them.
The commitment was made off the back of a motion from Councillor Dessie Larkin – he says this is a significant development:
