Ballyliffen’s Brendan Mc Carroll won his second tournament of the Alps Pro Tour season on Sunday.
Brendan took honours at the Casino San Remo Open thanks to a blistering 7 under 62 final round. The Donegal man continued with his winning form from three weeks ago in Austria hitting 9 birdies and 2 bogies on the last day of competition to snatch the win at 8 under par, one shot ahead of the overnight leader Alberto Campanile of Italy.
The victory puts McCarroll in a strong second place in the order of merit.
Speaking with Oisin Kelly Brendan was pleased to have won his second event of the season.
